/Biography
My name is Xavier Prevot, I work as a video artist and sculptor. Through my practice, I create environments in which technology becomes a monitoring system, halfway between attempts of preservation and dynamics of control.
Using mediums such live video, and through the use of domotics tools and materials derived from industrial waste, I am currently working on creating a series of autonomous devices designed to maintain the life of tiny samples of ecosystems. Their purpose is to allow a person isolated in the heart of an urban environment to encounter a spontaneous act of care, delivered by a synthetic environment.
